THE EMBODIED PSYCHE: PURSUIT OF INTERSEX IMMIGRANT IDENTITY

October 26th is Intersex Awareness Day — an annual day dedicated to raising awareness about intersex individuals and their challenges through the unique stories of their lives.

Recently, I was glad to share some moments of my journey as an Intersex Immigrant in an interview with Adam Karev for his fantastic journal “Unhingedprint.”

In this paper, I discuss my self-discovery journey as a person with Klinefelter variation (47xxy) and a political migrant from Russia and articulate the critical points of my dissertation project on identity and embodied consciousness, focusing on marginalized intersex migrants through micro-phenomenological method and Enactive inquiry & Depth Psychological perspectives.

Our conversation also touched on the interconnectedness of consciousness, art, and AI. We talked about how human creativity involves vulnerability and self-reflection, qualities that AI so far lacks. This critique emphasizes that, while powerful, AI may struggle to replicate the complexity of human experience and emotions that shape identity and art.
